Aaron Wan-Bissaka insists he wasn't distracted by speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United.
England U21 boss Aidy Boothroyd suggested Wan-Bissaka was distracted during the U21 European Championships after his own goal cost the Young Lions against France in the group stage.
Wan-Bissaka ended up making a £50m switch to United from Crystal Palace, but he denies the rumours impacted his play during the tournament.
"It wasn't difficult, I was not focused on that really," he said after making an encouraging debut in United's 2-0 pre-season win against Perth Glory. "I do not focus on speculation - I just keep my head down and keep doing it on the pitch.
"It is easy for me to block out. The main thing is just playing football."
