Stoke City attacker Jon Walters says the club must make the Carling Cup a priority this season.
The Potters will be aiming to book their place in the final sixteen of this season's competition when they take on Fulham at the Britannia Stadium.
Walters told Stoke's website: "When you look at our squad, we have a realistic chance of going all the way.
"The cup competitions are fantastic for the players because they give you an opportunity to do something special and possibly go on to win some silverware.
"You obviously need the luck of the draw, but we do have the quality here to cause any team problems, and when the game is a one-off, anything can happen."
He added: "We would love to go to Wembley, play in a final and win major honours, which is what you want as a professional footballer. Whether it is this season or another season, hopefully I can help this Football Club to achieve something."
