Walter Mazzarri has been named the best coach of Napoli for the past decade.

Mazzarri was at the San Paolo from October 2009 to May 2013, winning the Coppa Italia in 2012, finishing third in Serie A in 2011 and second in 2013.

Mazzarri topped the vote set by Radio Kiss Kiss to find the best Napoli coach of the last decade.

“Thank you to the Neapolitans for having chosen me as their best coach over the last 10 years," Mazzarri told the radio station.

“I'm glad I left good memories and we achieved some great things together. Napoli remains in my heart."
