Walsall have extended the loan of West Bromwich Albion midfielder Sam Mantom.

Mantom will now remain with the Saddlers to season's end.

"He has made a big contribution here and I'm delighted to be able to extend his stay," Walsall boss Dean Smith told the club's official website.

"He's been a useful addition to the squad and has got better with each game.

"I'm looking forward to working with him between now and the end of the season."
