Walsall are sending Connor Ronan back to Wolves after his loan spell is complete.
The 20-year-old played 15 times for the Saddlers since arriving in the summer.
But he only started eight games, with the last one being in early November.
Walsall boss Dean Keates did not feel it was necessary to keep Ronan till the end of the season.
A Walsall statement read: "Walsall FC can confirm that midfielder Connor Ronan has returned to parent club Wolves.
"We would like to thank Connor for his efforts during his time with the club and wish him all the best for the future."
