Wales are concerned that Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey may miss their World Cup qualifiers at the start of next month as he continues to struggle with a hamstring injury.
The 25 year old has not played since limping off an hour into the opening game of Arsenal's season, a 4-3 home loss to Liverpool on August 14.
Standard Sport understands that the Welsh FA have not made a concrete decision on whether to call up Ramsey but assistant manager Osian Roberts offered a downbeat assessment of the midfielder's prospects of making the party for the October games on BBC Wales Sport.
"It's a huge disappointment for him and for all of us. But let's just hope the situation improves for him over the next week or so."
