VVV Venlo have confirmed striker Michael Uchebo will hold talks with Stoke City this week.

The young Nigerian striker is set to join Stoke in January with his contract due to expire at the end of this season.

"They want to talk to Michael," VVV chief Mario Captein told Voetbal International.

"It shows they're serious."

Uchebo will be in Stoke some time this week to speak with manager Tony Pulis and tour the club's training facilities.
