Vlad Marin has been given the all-clear to begin his career at Manchester City.
City coughed up €400,000 compensation to Lazio to sign Marin over the summer, but he has been waiting for his registration to be rubberstamped by the Premier League.
TMW says the ruling came this week and Marin, who has signed a three-year contract, is free to play for City's reserves.
The midfielder, 17, hopes to gain his UK work permit in the coming days to make himself available to Roberto Mancini's first team.
