Vitesse sends Charly Musonda back to Chelsea

Vitesse have sent a crocked Charly Musonda back to Chelsea.

The Sun says he has returned to Chelsea and could be facing months on the sidelines after being injured playing for loan club Vitesse Arnhem.

The 21-year-old winger only moved to the Dutch outfit on deadline day last month but is now back at Stamford Bridge.

Belgian U21 star Musonda damaged his shin in a behind-closed-doors game with Royal Antwerp on Saturday.

He was forced off just before half time and will now be hoping Chelsea's medics do not discover the damage is long-term.

And Vitesse will also have their fingers crossed the ace is not ruled out for a lengthy period.

The Eredivisie side have already lost Dane Rasmus Thelander to a broken ankle this season.
