Virgil van Dijk was missing from Liverpool training on Monday.
The Mirror says Jurgen Klopp was given a fresh injury headache when both Van Dijk and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain missed the last training session before Tuesday's Barcelona showdown.
The Liverpool manager is already without Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Naby Keita for the second leg of the Champions' League semi final, with his side 3-0 down from the first leg.
Neither player took part in the open session for the media at the club's Melwood training ground, with a spokesperson suggesting they were instead undertaking 'individual, tailored sessions' for their specific needs.
Van Dijk could be a doubt with the player suffering from a foot issue in recent weeks.
