Dele Alli has reportedly accepted the FA's charge of violent conduct.
The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder was hit with the charge after allegedly punching Claudio Yacob during Monday night's 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion.
The incident was not seen by referee Mike Jones but was caught on video and now an independent commission will investigate the matter.
If found guilty, 20-year-old Alli could be suspended for three matches which would prematurely end his season with title-chasing Spurs who currently sit seven points behind leaders Leicester City.
