Vincent Janssen was delighted to break his duck with Tottenham.
Spurs ran out comfortable winners against Gillingham, courtesy of a 5-0 scoreline, and will face Liverpool in the fourth round.
Janssen missed several chances for the north Londoners but eventually found the net when he slotted home a second-half penalty by sending goalkeeper Stuart Nelson the wrong way.
"I wanted the penalty and it feels great to score my first goal for this amazing club.
"The fans were fantastic for me," he told the club's official website.
