Vincent Janssen admits he rejected bigger offers to sign for Tottenham.
The former AZ Alkmaar striker has battled to settle at Spurs, but insists he has no regrets.
"There were clubs that wanted to pay even more money than Spurs. But I immediately told AZ: I just want to to join Spurs and not a club which may offer more," said Janssen.
"These were not clubs in the desert, but clubs from beautiful competitions, such as VfL Wolfsburg. And also a club in the Premier League."
He added: "Of course, I had hoped that I would play more often when (Harry) Kane got injured. But I won't panic, I have to win the trust. And the club will give me time to get used to the Premier League."
