Villarreal have received a cash boost from Rodri's €70m move to Manchester City.

Just a year after selling him to Atletico Madrid for €25m, Villarreal will receive more money for Rodrigo.

The midfielder has completed a move to Manchester City after the English club activated his €70m release clause.

Villarreal will receive €7m of that figure due to their 10 percent sell-on clause.

Villarreal have already received €27m euros for Pablo Fornals this summer.
