Villarreal vice-president José Manuel Llaneza is convinced of an exciting season ahead.

Llaneza has underlined the exciting season ahead of the Yellows and their fans.

“There is a lot of excitement. We were the club for all of Spain and the Region of Valencia for various days," he said, referring to the European Super Cup. “A youngster aged 17 said to me: “What about if we come home with both trophies?"

The Yellows vice-president believes he has seen a lot of excitement during the Europa League trophy tour: “In the trophy tour, there has been a lot of youngsters. Before, a lot of kids supported FC Barcelona or Real Madrid.

"Now there are a lot who support Villarreal CF and that is very important for us."
