Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly indicated that Roberto Soldado remains in the club's plans.
Recent reports have suggested that Spurs are set to offload the Spanish striker to Villarreal for £11million after two disappointing seasons in north London.
However, Pochettino revealed to Spanish publication AS that 30-year-old Soldado may not be leaving White Hart Lane after all.
"I can't confirm [whether Villarreal are interested in Soldado]. He is our player and he is in our plans for the new season," he said ahead of Tuesday's clash with Real Madrid in the Audi Cup in Munich.
