Villarreal president Fernando Roig is confident keeping hold of coach Unai Emery.

Emery is being linked with the manager's job at Newcastle United.

But after their Champions League win against Young Boys, Roig said: “I don't think his thoughts are elsewhere.

“I know Unai has a contract with us, and contracts are there to be fulfilled. We hope that we will be able to fulfill this contract to the end."

Emery's deal with the Yellow Submarine runs to 2023.
