Villarreal coach Quique Setien concedes they lacked quality in front of goal for defeat at home to Real Valladolid.
Villarreal's top four chances suffered a heavy blow with this 2-1 loss.
Setien later said, “We knew that against Real Valladolid we were going to be able to generate chances and, therefore, the important thing was to keep a clean sheet, but on the first occasion they scored against us and we had to go behind for the rest of the game.
"We created a lot of chances, but we didn't know how to take advantage of them and you end up paying for it.
“Football is unpredictable. Winning in LaLiga costs a lot and the option of losing is always there. Today, we deserved to win because we generated more than them, but we didn't win because we weren't as inspired in front of goal and in the end football is all about goals."
