Villarreal coach Unai Emery was delighted with their 4-1 win at Champions League opponents Young Boys.

The Yellow Submarine dominated the game with Gerard Moreno and Alberto Moreno among the goalscorers on the night.

Young Boys hadn't lost at home for 216 days and Emery said: "They put a lot of players in the box, and we knew that our goalkeeper was going to have a lot of work today.

"Rulli did great and we are happy for him, he really helped the team and was important for us to get the win."

Villarreal goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli was named man if the match and also said: "This prize means a lot because it means that I helped the team. We knew that the second half was going to be different and we were ready for it."
