Villarreal coach Unai Emery is delighted with the way they've started the season.
Villarreal meet Real Madrid this weekend sitting in second place.
Emery told Marca: "We must always be prudent. It's time to appeal to the principles that the Villarreal president [Fernando Roig] always supports, based on the culture of effort. You have to be very demanding and have a lot of internal ambition.
"I come to a club that in 23 years of management under president Fernando Roig has played one Champions League semi-final and three Europa League semi-finals. They haven't won trophies, but they've been close. I come from a career with Sevilla where I won trophies, PSG where I won trophies, and at Arsenal I played in finals.
"I find myself at a team that is in the Europa League, and that is the profile with which I felt comfortable with."
