Rubén Peña has left Villarreal CF.

The full-back from Avila leaves the Yellows as of 30 June. The player has played three seasons with Villarreal, since he arrived in the 19/20 season from SD Eibar.

During his time as a player with Villarreal, Peña made 71 official appearances in which he scored three goals.

He also won the UEFA Europa League in the 20/21 season and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League just a few months ago, making history along with his teammates.
