David Villa was thrilled with a winning Barcelona debut in last night's Supa Copa triumph. Villa came on to make his debut late on in the 4-0 victory over Sevilla.
"I'm very happy. The phrase is 'dream debut', but it is much more than a dream debut. It was nice for how it all happened," said Villa.
"The team has lined up perfectly, has fronted up to Sevilla without giving a minute of arguments. I've also noticed the affection of the people."
On hat-trick hero Lionel Messi, Villa added: "I have suffered many times as a rival, now it is much nicer. He has been sensational as always, it is a joy to watch him play as a teammate."
