Aston Villa striker Darren Bent is open to playing for Harry Redknapp at QPR.

The People says Bent does not hold a grudge against Redknapp.

Bent has been axed from the Aston Villa side by boss Paul Lambert. And Rangers are set to rival Fulham for Bent's ­signature in January, after Redknapp revealed his admiration for the former England man.

Bent and Redknapp fell out when the pair were together at Spurs, after the manager criticised him for missing a chance.

But there is no bad ­feeling on either side.
