Aston Villa skipper Ron Vlaar is convinced Christian Benteke will rattle Liverpool in their FA Cup semifinal clash.

Vlaar said the big Belgian has inspired Villa in recent times and keeps the rest of his team-mates on their toes in training.

"Christian is a massive player - and unbelievable for us," said Vlaar to the Birmingham Mail.

"He is our main target. He can score goals and we need his goals to stay up.

"He gave us a win at Tottenham - which was huge for us.

"I wouldn't like to play against him. He certainly keeps you sharp in training as well - and he makes you better.

"He was unlucky to get that big injury but he is back now and firing in the goals for us."
