Manchester City must wait to close a deal for Aston Villa midfielder James Milner.
The Mirror says Milner is set to complete his move to Man City on Thursday and Roberto Mancini is hopeful of selecting him this weekend.
England midfielder Milner, 24, is moving from Aston Villa to Eastlands in a cash-plus-player deal involving City's Stephen Ireland.
It is poised to net Villa almost £20million plus talented midfielder Ireland as the two clubs are close to agreeing a fee.
But Milner has put his future on hold while he links up with England today (Monday) ahead of Wednesday's friendly with Hungary.
Milner knows going to City is the biggest move of his career and is in no mood to rush a deal through while away with England.
