Ajax fullback Gregory van der Wiel says he won't force a move away.

Van der Wiel is a target for Manchester City and Aston Villa, but says he won't agitate for an exit from Ajax.

"Holland is still good for my development, but the level is indeed a lot less than the Dutch national team," he said. "At the start of the training camp I had to really adjust.

"But after a week I was like: 'lovely, I feel I'm getting better'.

"My next step will come naturally."
