Villa linked with Everton boss Moyes

Mirror Football is suggesting that Aston Villa are lining up a shock move for Everton boss David Moyes.

Villa are yet to decide on Martin O'Neill's successor although it seemed that caretaker Kevin MacDonald would be the man for the job.

But recent reports are linking Moyes, who has been a huge success at Goodison Park since taking over in 2002, as the man who could come in and lead Villa.

Moyes is apparently frustrated that the Toffees board won't give him money to bring in a quality striker and although there has been no official approach from Villa, his name is being bandied around and there is big money at some betting shops indicating the move may eventuate.
