The agent of Valencia fullback Miguel has confirmed the interest of Premiership clubs.

The Portugal international has been a long-term target for Everton and Aston Villa.

"Valencia spoke with me and said there was contact from English clubs but I need to make an appointment with Valencia now," Paulo Barbosa told setanta.com.

"Of course he would want to move to The Premier League.

"The problem with Valencia is financial. They have some difficulties; that is why we think England can be a good solution."
