Aston Villa caretaker boss Kevin MacDonald was delighted with the performance of their fringe players in their 1-1 draw at Europa League opponents Rapid Vienna.
The likes of Nigel Reo-Coker, Habib Beye and Curtis Davies came in from the fringes to complete the full 90 minutes in Vienna and MacDonald was pleased with the way they performed.
Reo-Coker was a central figure for Villa and seemed to relish his role as skipper for the night.
"I thought they actually lasted 90 minutes very well - Nigel especially playing in the midfield, which is a difficult position," MacDonald told Villa's website.
"Curtis and Habib did well as well. Everyone made mistakes on the night but they actually rectified those mistakes very, very well.
"So I was pleased with all of them. It is not an easy place to come and it was a decent result for us."
