New Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish says he is happy to have a player like Darren Bent at the club.
The former Birmingham City boss recently stepped into the role at Villa Park and is looking forward to overseeing Bent who is beginning to become a very trustworthy goalscoring source for whoever he plays for despite copping criticism along the way.
"People doubted him for England and he's started to score for England," McLeish said.
"He'll be scrutinised. He's now seen as a top player and the minute he misses a chance for England or has an off game he'll be criticised."
