Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert feels they need only one more win to beat the drop.

After defeat to Crystal Palace, Lambert insisted one more win is all they need to guarantee Premier League survival as he urged fans to get behind his struggling side.

"The way the table is, I don't think 40 points is needed," he said, "I think one more win could secure us. The fans are absolutely vital to the football club, they're going to have to roar us out from now on in to get us over that line and all I can do is my best and hopefully they like it."
