Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert was delighted with Jores Okore's performance for victory at Crystal Palace.
The Dane helped Villa earn a cleansheet.
"Okore and (Ciaran) Clark were great, too, along with (Brad) Guzan," said Lambert.
"It's Okore's third game in quick succession and he's been out for 14 months yet him and Clark have both stepped up."
