Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has been assured of an increased transfer budget during new contract talks.
The Mirror says Lambert is set to pen a new Aston Villa contract in double-quick time after being promised fresh transfer funds.
The Scot is close to finalising a new three-year deal at Villa Park despite only opening talks in the past month.
He is keen to extend his stay after the club's American owner Randy Lerner pledged to increase the available transfer kitty.
