Vigouroux pays Swindon fine in pennies, gets sent back to Liverpool

Lawrence Vigouroux has sensationally had his loan spell at Swindon Town cut short according to reports.

The Daily Mail suggests that the 21-year-old goalkeeper has been sent back to parent club Liverpool after turning up to training late and then paying the
£50 fine in pennies.

Vigouroux was initially fined £150 but the seniors Swindon players cut that £50 to help out the English-born Chilean gloveman.

However, he irked the Robins by dumping a bank bags of pennies in the dressing room and his season-long loan has been duly cut short according to the report.

When quizzed on the issue, Swindon boss Mark Cooper said: "It's an internal disciplinary matter. It's come from me and the rest of the players."

Asked if there would be further issues, he added: "It won't, it's been dealt with."

Neither club has confirmed nor denied the report.
