Former AC Milan defender Pietro Vierchowod says Rafael Leao should be sold if new contract talks can't be settled.
Vierchowod insists the attacker doesn't contribute as much as claimed.
He told TMW Radio: "Do we consider him a champion or a strong player? I think he can be replaced, he makes 40 per cent per game. In this context he can make a difference but once there were others who made a difference. Without Leao you can go on.
"Maybe he wants to leave. He has to pay a 'debt' to Sporting? He did the casino, not Milan. I would sell him, full stop. We have seen champions in the past. Milan, lost (Gigio) Donnarumma, have found another great goalkeeper.
"Better not bandage your head before falling. Where it says that Leao must take the money from Milan that he must give to Sporting? It is absurd that they pay for his mistakes."
