Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira is ready to secure his first signing.

The Premier League club are in talks with Reading regarding the transfer of midfielder Michael Olise.

The creative 19-year-old is a France Under-18 star and one of the brightest prospects in the Championship.

According to the Daily Mail, other Premier League sides have an interest, but Palace are advancing talks to secure his signature in the coming days or weeks.

The deal for Olise, who managed seven goals and 12 assists in 46 league games last term, could go as high as £8 million.
