Victor Palsson is delighted with his progress at Liverpool.
The Icelandic teenager joined Liverpool last January and has already captained the club's reserve-team.
Palsson told liverpoolfc.tv: "It's only two years since I was playing for a small club back in Iceland, so this is a bit of a dream come true to be here.
"It's a fantastic club with incredible facilities. Just being here can help make you a better player. The coaching is great and with so many top players around you, it's hard not to learn and develop your game."
On captaining the reserves, Palsson added: "It was a very proud moment for me. I enjoyed having the armband but Stephen Darby is our regular skipper and I'm happy for him to lead us."
