Barcelona presidential hopeful Victor Font has hinted PSG star Neymar would be off his agenda should he win election.

Font is planning to challenge incumbent Josep Maria Bartomeu for the Barca presidency and was asked if he would follow the current board's lead and seek to buy Neymar back from PSG.

But Font told El Larguero: "The return of Neymar? The president does not decide who is recruited or not.

"But I believe that the club cannot afford it at the institutional and economic level."

Indeed, it's been suggested PSG will seek to recoup the €222m they paid to meet Neymar's buyout clause at Barca three years ago.
