Veteran Athletic Bilbao defender Óscar de Marcos has signed a new deal.
De Marcos, who turned 34 in April, has penned a new 12 month contract. The agreement doesn't include a buyout clause.
He came to Lezama from Alavés in the 2009-2010 season. Since then he has played 496 games as a lion, being the seventh player, tied with the legendary Piru Gainza, who has defended the Athletic shirt the most times.
Throughout these 14 campaigns he has also scored 37 goals.
