Mark Hughes has been happy with the pre-season form of Geoff Cameron.
The 28-year old USA international had a decent debut season with the Potters, playing mainly as a right-back under Tony Pulis, but new boss Hughes suggests he may have a few different roles for him as Stoke prepares for the 2013/14 Premier League seaosn.
"He's impressed me, very much so," Hughes told reporters ahead of Wednesday night's friendly with Cameron's former club Houston Dynamo.
"He's a big character and I like that trait in him. I think he's been frustrated with his time at Stoke because maybe he feels he hasn't played in his most effective position. I'll be looking to play Geoff tomorrow in a number of positions that he's looking to play at."
