Verona coach Ivan Juric was delighted with victory over Cagliari.
Verona won 2-1 thanks to two goals from Samuel di Carmine.
“It was a very important game, as we must secure our safety as soon as possible. I will admit, my reactions were a bit over the top, as we'd been waiting so long for this match," Juric told DAZN.
“I also got angry because we were dominating, should've scored more than two goals and then had this red card that was completely unfair.
“All I will say is that the objective for us and the club is to ensure we stay in Serie A. After that, we'll push to the end and then we'll see, but first we need to get the basics sorted out.
“I don't rule anything out, I don't stop anyone dreaming. I just want to get as many points as possible, that is the objective."
