Argentine hero Juan Sebastian Veron can't see how Inter Milan and Mauro Icardi can settle their differences.

Icardi was ignored by coach Luciano Spalletti for defeat to Lazio.

“I am only a spectator here, so I say what I see from the outside," Veron told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I know we all have difficult moments, but I always maintained a player must put the team, the club and respect first. It's disappointing, because it looks as if they have reached a point of no return.

“Mauro did so well at Inter and can still give so much. Inter did not deserve to end up in this situation. I hope they can meet up soon and work out the situation."
