Bari coach Giampiero Ventura was disappointed to miss out on former Juventus midfielder Sebastian Giovinco.

The Under-21 international opted for a loan move to Parma instead.

Ventura said: "We beat Juventus even without Giovinco and a new defender. It's true with them we could've been even more ambitious, but I shared the philosophy of the club with the resources at our disposal."
