Blackburn Rovers managing director Balaji Rao says he is fully committed to the Championship club.
The co-owner of Indian company Venky's has come under criticism for the clubs handling of their managers recently following the sudden sacking of Michael Appleton but he insists he is dedicated to the Ewood Park outfit.
"Blackburn Rovers is my lifelong commitment. I love the fans," he told Goal.com.
"I want to go up [get promoted] and not go down, period. Mathematically [we could get relegated], and I don't want us to go down.
"[Interim boss] Gary Bowyer will continue to be the manager for the rest of the season.
"Let this season finish. For this season, we are not looking to just avoid relegation as we think we still have a chance to go up."
Blackburn currently sits 18th on England's tier two table just four points above the relegation zone.
