Anthony vanden Borre is delaying Portsmouth midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng's move to Genoa.

The deal was on the verge of completion with claims Boateng had undergone a medical on Monday.

Vanden Borre was going to be the key to lowering the £5.5m price-tag, as he already spent last season on loan at Fratton Park.

However, Sky Sport Italia says Vanden Borre has absolutely no intention of making his move to Portsmouth a permanent one.
