Bell Media's Team Radio has signed a multi-year extension to its broadcast rights partnership with Vancouver Whitecaps, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The Canadian radio station will broadcast all games on Team 1410 and will feature pre and post-game coverage.
As part of the extension, television broadcaster TSN, part-owned by Bell Media and ESPN, will become the official Whitecaps broadcaster starting this season. Bell will also extend its role as a premier founding partner of the team a deal, which sees the Bell branding on all Whitecaps official men's and women's apparel.
Team Radio's coverage of the Whitecaps' season will be led by Peter Schaad in his 13th year covering the club. He will be joined by former Whitecaps midfielder and Canadian international David Norman.
