Vancouver's Miller likely to join Rangers next year - Goram

Andy Goram believes Kenny Miller will return to Rangers for a third spell next year.

The 33-year old striker decided to extend his contract with Vancouver Whitecaps by six months to finish the 2013 season in MLS but former 'Gers keeper Goram is confident he will be back at Ibrox at some point in the next little while.

"Rangers didn't need Kenny Miller right now - but don't think that's the last we've seen of him at Ibrox," he wrote in his column for SunSport.

"Bringing him back for a third spell would have been brilliant because he's such a great player.

"If we were in the new Championship and only one promotion away from the top league, it might have been a different story for Kenny.

"I fully understand his decision, but who's to say he won't come back next year if we get the promotion we're all hoping for?

"Staying at Vancouver for this extra spell won't make him a worse player and if Rangers get into the Championship he'd be a massive addition.

"That's why it wouldn't surprise me if Ally McCoist was looking at him again next season."
