Van Tiggelen critical of Man Utd midfielder Blind passing game

Former Holland defender Adrie van Tiggelen admits the passing game of Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind is too conservative.

Blind was criticised by United legend Gary Neville for 'playing it safe' during the derby defeat at Manchester City.

And Van Tiggelen, when discussing Feyenoord midfielder Jordy Clasie's attributes, agrees with Neville's summation.

"Blind still plays soccer according to the Ajax academy. All balls go back and wide," he told Voetbal International.

"Clasie adds a lot more speed to the game. He is always looking forward to find the solution."
