Former Manchester United and Arsenal striker Robin van Persie is due a medical with Feyenoord.

Voetbal Nieuws says Van Persie is finally set to call time on his Fenerbahce career after making just two appearances in the Super Lig this season.

Van Persie failed to win any silverware during his time in Istanbul.

And he will now be hoping to inspire Dutch champions Feyenoord back up the table as they look to close the huge gap on rivals Ajax and PSV Eindhoven.

Van Persie is due to undergo a Feyenoord medical tomorrow.
