Former Manchester United and Arsenal striker Robin van Persie is set to kickoff his coaching career.

Due to retire at the end of the season, Van Persie will join the Feyenoord coaching staff.

TMW says it's been agreed he will be appointed to Jaap Stam's coaching staff for next season.

Stam will take charge of Feyenoord this summer, having signed a two year deal earlier this month effective 1 June 2019.

Van Persie, 35, returned to Feyenoord last year from Fenerbahce.
